A Fascinating Piece of Los Angeles History

Since 1969, Heritage Square has acquired and begun restoration on eight historically significant buildings from around Los Angeles. The buildings were moved to the museum to avoid being torn down, and now play an important role in teaching and understanding the history of Southern California.

Fun for All Ages

On weekends, our tours take visitors on an exploration of Southern California history, architecture and culture as interpreted through our historic buildings.

Throughout the year, we host events for our community to come and enjoy the grounds.

Many of our events have become annual traditions for families – such as our Outdoor Holiday Movie Series, and our famed multi-week Halloween celebration – Cemetery Lane.
